Delete your Martha, sit account

Martha, sit (馬大別忙, run by Hsueh-Han Lee) is a serving schedule tool for church team members. You can delete your account and related data at any time.

Delete it in the app (fastest)

  1. Open the Martha, sit app or web app (open the web app) and sign in with your account.
  2. Tap Me at the bottom.
  3. Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete account, and confirm.

If you’re the only admin of a church, first go to Team members and make someone else an admin. Then you can delete your account.

Can’t sign in? Email us

From the email you signed up with, send a message to hansli112871114@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Martha, sit account,” and include the email you sign in with. Once we’ve confirmed it’s you, we’ll delete your account within 30 days and email you back.

What gets deleted

  • your sign-in account;
  • your account data, including your name, email, language setting, and the push tokens for all your devices;
  • your team member data in every church (status, permissions, the serving you’re assigned to, notification settings).

What’s kept

  • Names on schedules: Names already on schedules are kept as plain text, because they’re part of the church’s serving records. To have them removed, contact that church’s admin.
  • Error logs and usage analytics: These don’t include your name or email, and they’re deleted automatically after their retention periods (90 days for error logs, up to 14 months for usage analytics).
  • Transaction records: Payment records for in-app tips and subscriptions are kept by Apple or Google under their own rules. To cancel a subscription, go to the App Store or Google Play.

Only want to delete some of your data?

  • Leave a church: Leave it yourself in the app. This deletes your team member data in that church and keeps your account.
  • Other data: Email us at the address above and tell us which data to delete.
